I am young enthusiastic saxophone teacher with a great passion to help you learn the saxophone! I will help you learn to play any saxophone from scratch, introducing you to the instrument, playing techniques, improvising and music theory. If you are playing already I will help you improve your skills, help you pick fun and interesting repertoire and to play music that you like. 

Experience clarinet/bass clarinet performer and teacher.I first moved to the UK to complete a scholarship Postgraduate Degree at the Royal Academy of Music where I obtained my teaching and performance diplomas in 1996.I currently hold the post of clarinet and saxophone teacher at St.Aloysius College in Highgate.Other teaching positions over the last few years have included deputy teaching at Kings College, London, Frensham Summer School as well as private tuition and masterclasses at Bath University.

I have taught all ages/levels piano, clarinet, keyboard and saxophone since 1990.Also grade 1-5 Assoc. Board theory. From school childrens ABRSM grades to celebrities who need a hobby, I pride myself on getting on with all manner of individuals. The fact I have broader business experience is a great asset in teaching, I feel. My customers say I am too modest, but I am very much a believer that those who say least have done most.

Currently an undergraduate student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and have many years experience in classical and jazz music.  My philosophy is that learning an instrument should first and foremost be an exciting and enjoyable experience.

My approach to teaching is positive and friendly, with the emphasis on enjoyment of playing. I regularly prepare pupils for ABRSM graded exams up to grade 8 and beyond.

I received my BMus with Hons and a PGDip in Orchestral Training from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama as well as a Masters in Music from the Jacobs School of Music in Indiana (USA).

 

 I am a professional musician offering tuition in saxophone, piano and music theory. I have completed courses at the Royal Academy of Music in London with stars like Dave Liebman, Gwilym Simcock and Peter King.

While specializing in Jazz and improvisation, I can teach a wide variety of styles including the Classical grades from 1 to 8. Everyone is welcome and I can teach all over and around London.
