Ebony studied a BMUS in Opera singing and music theory at the University of Queensland in Australia, before moving to London to complete a post-graduate diploma in Musical Theory at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She has appeared in productions of Les Miserables, Il Nozze di Figaro, A Midsummer Night's dream (Opera), A...My name is Alice, Gypsy and Bye Bye Birdie. Ebony was most recently a featured lead on the BBC1 drama Inspector George Gently. She has taught singing and music theory to students of all ages for the last six years. As well as focusing on the technical side of singing and music, Ebony also emphasises the importance of interpretation and performance (acting through song).
Ebony also uses a physical approach to her lessons where necessary, combining movement from both yoga and Alexander Technique. She is also able to teach music theory at all levels.
