I'm an encouraging, patient, enthusiastic, good-humored and creative teacher. I strive to make learning fun, rewarding and I always mould my teaching to fit each individual student's needs - whether it be classical and exam-led or not at all!

I passed grade 8, dipABRSM and LRSM in my school days, studied under full scholarship at the junior dept, Royal Academy of Music, and under another scholarship at Trinity College of music.

I have many years experience teaching violin / viola to pupils of all ages and standards (beginners - advanced).  I am also a very experienced performer. I adapt my teaching methods to suit you (e.g. following graded exams is good for some people but not all).  I always teach in a positive manner, and seek to ensure that all my pupils enjoy their playing. I can teach at my place or at yours. I have a current enhanced CRB check.
