I started playing the flute aged 6 years. I have 18 years experience as a teacher and professional performer. I studied a performance degree at Edith Cowan University in Australia under Brian Warren (LSO).
I don't favour a particular style of music and have been in Orchestras, chamber ensembles, Jazz bands and 'world music' groups. At the moment I am most interested in 'new music' and improvisation.
I have been a music/flute tutor in many places around the world. In Indonesia I worked as a music therapist for disadvantaged children. In Dublin I worked for Griffith University in the Leinster School of Music teaching mostly adults. I have been lucky to travel a lot.
I am in London to further my own music studies and perform as much as I can. I love to teach and share what I have learned so far.
