Audrey Milhères has taught flute in various French music schools and currently teaches at 'Music'All' (South Kensington) and CYM Hackney.
She trained in Bordeaux, where she obtained a ‘D.E.M’ with high distinction in flute performance at the National Conservatoire and studied privately for two subsequent years with soloist Samuel Coles. She continued with postgraduate performance studies in London, receiving the 2008 City of London Cordwainers music scholarship and studying with Rowland Sutherland. In October 2008 Audrey obtained a Masters Degree from City University/Guildhall School of Music and Drama, with distinction in flute performance.
Audrey participates in various chamber music projects and has a keen interest in contemporary music. In April 2009 she was invited to perform and give workshops on contemporary flute techniques in Cyprus, supported by the French embassy. Audrey has also collaborated with young composers, premiering and recording their works, and is currently involved in establishing a new music ensemble in London.
