Born in Spain, I started to play the violin at age four with teachers from Japan, Bulgaria, Russia and Spain. At age seven I joined the Madrid Conservatoire, where I studied Harmony, Aural Skills, Choir, Orchestra, Chamber Music, Analysis and Music History as well as violin, until age 19, when I went on to the National Conservatoire in Madrid.
In the Summers of 2000 and 2001 I attended the summer music school at Northwestern University in Chicago, where I lead the orchestra and won the Solo Competition and the String Quartet Competition.
In 2003 I came to London to study at the Royal College of Music, where I have completed my degree and Masters.
I have been a member of the Spanish Youth Orchestra and the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra and have toured in Spain, China and Germany, where I participated in the Young Euro Classic Festival and Dartington Festival. I have also played recitals in the Festival Internacional Castillo de San Marcos and my performances have been broadcasted by Spanish local and national televisions.
I have worked with well-known conductors, composers and soloists such as Bernard Haitink, Kryztof Penderecki, Lutz Kohler, George Pehlivanian, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Roger Norrington. I have also attended Materclasses by Lewis Kaplan and Igor Oistrakh.
I am a founding member of the Metapraxis Contemporary Ensemble, Principal Second Violin and member of the board of the London Arts Orchestra and a tutor for the University of Chichester Orchestra.
I have been a teacher for seven years and have a 100%sucess rate in exam and audition entries. I teach students of all ages and levels and teach groups, ensembles and string sections in four schools, one UK university and a London charity London Music Masters.
